Once a message is sent, its words stay exactly as they were. You only see when it was delivered and read. There is no edit button and no delete button, for anyone. So if a customer says “you never told me that”, you can show them.

Can the owner delete a message?
No, on purpose. If the most powerful person in the account could change it, it would not be proof.
Can we download it?
Yes. Big downloads come as one file you can save.
Who can see all this?
Only people with access to that project or business. Being part of a larger company account does not let someone read your chats.
